CalDay T-Shirt Design Contest
IEOR is having a design contest to help IEOR create t-shirts for CalDay 2016, UC Berkeley's annual open house. Participants will create a design for the front and back of the shirt. T-shirt designs may focus on any aspect of IEOR (What is it, who is involved, how is it used, how it can change the world, etc.)
All IEOR/ORMS undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to participate.
What is IEOR? Help us show the world!
Who is eligible?
All IEOR/ORMS undergraduate and graduate students.
Submission Formats
We will accept most document formats as long as it will fit on a t-shirt: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, PDF, Word, etc. Non-electronic formats will also be considered (canvas, for example). If you have questions about your document format, please contact us. In general, you should create your artwork at full-size (i.e. the size which it should appear on the t-shirt).
How do I participate?
Send your t-shirt design (front and back) to Keith McAleer (kmcaleer@berkeley.edu) by the deadline: March 14, 2016. If your document is too large to email, you may also submit by sharing with Google Drive. If your format is non-electronic, please submit in person at 4141 Etcheverry Hall.
How will the winners be decided?
A small committee of IEOR faculty and staff will vote on their favorite t-shirt designs. Winners will be announced on or before March 21, 2016. The winning student will receive a $50 VISA gift card — and get to feel great seeing students, faculty, and staff wearing your design around campus!
