Equity Research

Looking for a best-in-class opportunity to obtain hands-on experience with fundamental analysis and the investment research process? The Equity Research Associate internship program gives interns the chance to obtain and develop the core research skills needed to jumpstart a successful and lucrative career in investment management.

Fidelity’s Equity Division is responsible for handling more than 130 diversified mutual funds and more than 78 industry specific funds. Assets under management total approximately $788 billion.

Equity Research Associate Internship

Equity Research Associate interns support real investment decisions by building financial models, completing financial analysis, and conducting proprietary research. This internship gives maximum exposure into the comprehensive research process through collaboration with our managing director of research, analysts and portfolio managers.

Responsibilities

Interns will have the opportunity to conduct research to make investment recommendations on three stocks across different sub-sectors. Interns will have the freedom to do their own analytical research, communicate with corporate management teams, industry experts, and Wall Street analysts, in order to develop investment recommendations for our funds. The stock recommendations will be solely attributed to the intern and communicated to all of our portfolio managers. The research is primarily autonomous, with the opportunity to collaborate with fellow interns and use the Fidelity network around you.
