This highly strategic team collaborates with business unit leaders across the company to provide critical financial and strategic insights which directly impact the future direction of Wayfair’s fast-growing business.The FP&A Team within Strategic Finance provide decision support and forward-looking business and operational planning, as well as quantitative business modeling, analysis, and performance measurement. This team collaborates with leaders across the company to plan, track, and analyze the financial well-being of the company.The Gross Margin reporting and analysis team within Strategic Finance monitors and analyzes key drivers of gross margin to support financial, pricing and operational decisions. This requires quantitative business modelling, analysis and performance management. This team is highly cross-functional working with stakeholders across Pricing, Operations, Finance & Accounting and Algorithms to deliver data-driven insights.The Corporate Development team within Strategic Finance drives all corporate development and mergers & acquisitions and corporate finance activity for Wayfair. The team’s key activities are screening, presenting, and diligencing all inbound acquisition opportunities, developing strategic overviews of particular sectors of interest for mergers & acquisitions or strategic partnerships, creating Wayfair’s long-term cash flow forecast model that is updated for the Board of Directors each quarter and also drives all long-term capital planning for the business, evaluating and presenting findings on key corporate finance decisions, and ad hoc analyses for leadership to drive specific business decisions.About Wayfair Inc.Wayfair is one of the world’s largest online destinations for the home.
