SLED Marketing Intern Job Description Fortinet is a fast-growing and dynamic cybersecurity company with an experienced and collaborative marketing team. We are looking to hire a SLED (State, Local, Education) Marketing Intern to join the summer virtual internship program starting in June 2021. You’ll be working with the SLED marketing team on many different facets of marketing and executing projects. As a Fortinet intern, you’ll be exposed to nearly every aspect of marketing and gain a keen understanding of what a career in marketing looks like in real life. Besides working on impactful projects, you will participate in lunch and learn sessions with our executives, networking activities, and project showcases during the internship. Join us and be part of the mission to combat cyber threats.   About YouAbout You: Self-motivated, a problem solver, and enthusiastic “can-do” attitude with a passion for learning and growingYou are a leader and excellent teammate with experience in a collaborative team environmentYou are adept at project management, with an ability to keep projects running on schedule with the organizationYou enjoy coordinating and working with groups, providing them with vital information as needed to keep the team informed and focused on the taskResponsibility ·       Manage a complex, high-visibility project for SLED marketing·       Organize meetings with the vendor to gather input from subject matter experts·       Collaborate with the vendor to develop and maintain the project plan·       Manage content reviews and feedback cycles, coordinating across teams·       Keep the program running on time and budget, with support from the managerQualificationCurrently, a Junior or rising Senior enrolled in a four-year degree pursuing a Bachelor’s or Graduate Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field with expected graduation date of winter 2021 or spring 2022A passion for cybersecurity and an aptitude for learning solving a complex problemThe ideal candidate will be innovative, team-oriented, an effective communicator, have a desire to participate in change, and ability prioritize projects in a fast pace environmentMust able to demonstrate strong knowledge with MS Suite, communication, speaking, and writing skills
