This position is located in either Sacramento or Los Angeles County.

Under general direction, the Senior Electrical Engineer develops and maintains administrative regulations and building standards for health facilities in Title 24; and as an expert technical advisor, responds to inquiries on code interpretation and application of codes and policies.

This position is subject to the Form 700 Statement of Economic Interests filing requirements, which requires disclosure of certain personal economic interests as determined by the Conflict of Interest Code of the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development. Pursuant to Government Code section 81008, Form 700 Statement of Economic Interests is public record and will be made available for public inspection.

Do you have the following education or experience?

Experience: Five years of professional electrical engineering experience, at least two years of which shall have been in design and inspection work in several of the fields described in the “TYPICAL TASKS” above, and comparable in responsibility to that of an Associate Electrical Engineer in the California state service. and Education: Equivalent to graduation from college with major work in electrical engineering. (Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.)
