In this role you will work directly with the iRhythm data science and software engineering teams to help build proof of concept mobile, web and server applications for future product research. These projects will expose you to state of the art AI applications in the medical diagnostic space, allowing you to gain skills and experience in the fields of software engineering, data science and machine learning. This is a 6 month assignment reporting the Data Science Algorithm Research Lead. Our work environment is fast-paced, with a collaborative atmosphere. We are looking for like-minded individuals to join our team today!Specific job responsibilities include:Assisting Data Science team in translating Machine and Deep Learning algorithms into C or machine level language implementations for optimum execution on mobile platformsCollaborating with the Design, UX and Systems team to define app features for the collection and processing of biosignal dataIdentifying and resolving potential performance issues in collaboration with the Systems team personnelDeveloping, debugging and optimizing mobile apps for biosignal dataAbout you:Working towards BA/BS/MS in Computer Science, or related technical field.Java and Python development experienceExperience in building Android mobile applicationsFamiliarity with object oriented programmingDesired SkillsWeb application development experienceExperience with biomedical applicationsExperience working with AWS, MySQLExperience with wearable technologyExperience with biosignal processing and algorithmsThis is a 6 month co-op.FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Co-opAs a part of our core values, we ensure a diverse and inclusive workforce.
