CNA is looking for Research Analysts and Scientists to conduct research in our Systems, Tactics, and Force Development (STF) division to support the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps.
US citizenship is required as CNA will sponsor new employees for Department of Defense security clearances.
The STF Division’s key lines of research include tactical employment analyses, force development analyses, and system performance analyses. The STF Division is currently organized around warfare domains with four research programs: Undersea Warfare; Surface Warfare; Strike and Air Warfare; and Cyber, IT Systems, and Networks. Analysts from these research program typically work collaboratively with research staff from other research areas across the FFRDC.
We are looking for people with technical advanced degrees in mathematics, physics, chemistry, engineering or a relevant technical science field. Ph.D degrees are preferred.
Research Analyst – Required to have either a Ph.D with 0 years of experience or a Masters with 2+ years of experience.
Research Scientist – Required to have either a Ph.D or a masters with 5+ years of experience.
