The Public Advocates Office represents residential and small business ratepayer interests in Commission proceedings and processes (e.g., workshops, rulemakings, investigations, utility applications, hearings, advice letters, committee, and stakeholder meetings, and other forums). These proceedings and processes set rates, rules, policies, and regulations.Under the supervision of the Program and Project Supervisor in the Distribution Planning and Policy Section of the Energy Infrastructure Branch, the PURA I will perform a wide variety of analytical and consumer advocacy assignments related to distributed energy resources interconnection and integration, electric distribution planning, grid modernization, microgrid commercialization, and transportation electrification.Please visit www.publicadvocates.cpuc.ca.gov for more information on the Public Advocate’s Office.
