Summary

This position will be part of the Supply Chain Center of Excellence (COE) team who is responsible for building and establishing Lyft’s long-term Supply Chain strategy and Standard Operating Procedures. You will play a key role in helping to educate cross-functional partners on our strategy, as well as driving execution activities. Specifically, you will be instrumental in building out critical components of the Supply Chain COE, including policies and procedures, learning and development, analytics, automation, process improvement, and supply chain program management. In this role, the successful candidate will focus on supporting a 3-year plan developed by the Senior Manager, Supply Chain COE that will drive Lyft’s Supply Chain transformation.

Responsibilities

  • Execution of activities that aid in development of policies and procedures that will govern Lyft’s Supply Chain (ie. Travel and Entertainment, Gifting, Inventory Management, RFP SOPs, etc)
  • Partner with team members to execute a Supply Chain Program Management process that will house all Supplier Scorecards and follow up actions from QBRs
  • Support leadership in the development of  supplier selection criteria and standard RFP/RFQ/RFI processes that will be followed by our GSM organization
  • Develop and design key dashboards that inform the health and success of the Supply Chain organization across the business
  • Build expertise/knowledge of market trends including rigorous analysis of market drivers, cost structures, technical improvements and competitive landscape
  • Own additional ad hoc administrative responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Years of experience: new grad to 2 years
  • Independent self-starter with high degree of confidence and business and operational acumen
  • Extremely detail oriented, with high standards for accuracy and precision, and ability to handle sensitive data with confidentiality
  • Superior organizational skills and a passion for building efficiency
  • Solid team player, excellent at building relationships within your team and across teams; can work cooperatively and effectively in an ambiguous team environment with much room for growth and impact
  • Strong consultative, analytical, and problem solving skills
  • Comfortable independently managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a high-volume hiring environment with tight deadlines
  • Resourceful and has the willingness to do whatever needs to get done with integrity and accountability
  • Excel in situations where you can think critically and anticipate issues before they arise, and proactively suggest big-picture solutions
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, finance, business administration or related discipline is a plus
  • Experience with Oracle is a plus
