Applications are invited for a postdoctoral fellow position with Dr. Li Hsu in the Biostatistics Program at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include the development and dissemination of statistical methodology, software development, and application to large-scale genetic epidemiological studies. Specific areas of interest include multiclass regression model, nonparametric modeling and methods, multiple hypothesis testing, machine learning, and genome-wide risk modeling. The fellow will have real-hand data analysis experience by participating in large collaborative studies, in which rich data on tumor genomics, germline genetics and environmental risk factors have been collected.The position will come with a competitive postdoc-level salary with great benefits. The Center is housed in a lovely campus next to Lake Union a short walk from downtown, and a convenient shuttle from the University of Washington.QualificationsApplicants should have a Ph.D. in statistics, biostatistics or computational biology with strong skills in applied statistical methods development and computation. Knowledge of genetics and genomics is desired.
