The People Operations Manager will have significant program development responsibilities, notably growing and leading a new team within the Business Services Group to deliver more robust services and resources across the employee lifecycle including recruitment, payroll, HR rules, performance management, and employee transitions. They will make bureaucratic processes more streamlined and less burdensome, ensuring alignment with bureau values, and a more equitable and inclusive workplace. This position will also be responsible for budget development and monitoring.

 

The People Operations Manager and their team will lead and facilitate the following aspects of the Employee Lifecycle:

  • Candidate pipeline: Build community relationships and awareness of PWB as an employer of choice, and increase the number of qualified candidates for key recruitment areas. 
  • Recruitment and hiring: Provide tools, support, and partner with managers to ensure consistent equitable recruitment and hiring process. 
  • Payroll and leave management: Ensure timely and accurate timekeeping, compensation, FMLA/OFLA, employee record keeping, and access to other benefits.
