This is crime information management and intelligence analysis work for the Philadelphia Police Department at the entry level. Employees in this class may attend training sessions and participates on assignments and/or other tasks designed to familiarize them with law enforcement information management systems, crime analysis, intelligence analysis, and research. Assignments vary in nature and increase in complexity as the employee gains proficiency. Employees work on assigned shifts in the Real-Time Crime Center assignment. Work is performed under the supervision of a technical superior.

This job requires:

 EDUCATION ONLY –Completion of a bachelor’s degree program at an accredited college or university with major coursework in criminology, criminal justice, crime science, data science, geography, intelligence analysis, mathematics, statistics, economics, or a closely related social science field.
