Overview:

Guidepoint is seeking a junior financial analyst to assist with financial planning and analysis processes, including financial statement preparation, profitability analyses, commission calculations, and special projects. Guidepoint’s Finance team not only makes sure the bills get paid on time, but provides the company with innovative solutions to optimizing and growing our collective ROI. The team manages and organizes financial planning, forecasting, spending, and accounting information to ensure Guidepoint operates smoothly.

What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare monthly variance analysis and explanations in conjunction with the accounting team
  • Assist in preparing the global budget and reforecast inclusive of financial models, submitting and updating projections within our budgeting software
  • Support the monthly commissions process and assist with quarterly sales commissions
  • Create monthly global operational reports
  • Analyze and report on revenue and customer profitability
  • Assist with special projects

What You Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Familiarity with creating and modeling budgets, financial statements, and forecasts
  • Advanced excel skills, with financial modeling skills preferred
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem solving capabilities
  • Self-starter, detail-oriented, strong communication skills, and ability to work independently
