Under general direction of the Accessible Technology Compliance Section, Bureau of Technology Management, conducts testing activities for compliance with IITAA (Illinois Information Technology Accessibility Act) specifications on equipment and productivity. Travels in the performance of duties.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to four years of college with course work in computer science or directly related fields. Requires one year of professional experience in a related Information Technology field.

Specialized Skills:

Of the one year of professional experience, requires one year of experience performing quality assurance testing of information systems and software. Requires working knowledge of IITAA, Section 508, or similar accessibility standards and accessible technology software.
