OB SUMMARY: 

The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for working with department users to align business strategies with ERP System functionality. Acts as a liaison between technology teams, support teams and business units. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (COMPETENCIES): 

• Apply project management fundamentals to the documenting and support of an ERP system including subsequent enhancements and upgrades 

• Confer with customers to analyze user needs and requirements 

• Translate business requirements to system and functional requirements 

• Document business processes as part of system documentation 

• Perform data analysis on existing data and present options available in regards to a solution 

• Work with Information Technology to ensure that system products meet user expectations 

• Keep department staff and customers informed of progress on all projects and user requests . 

• Assist in the planning, coordination and guidance for all phases of project management with project teams, including guidelines, standards, policies and procedures 

• Provides the necessary coordination, guidance and documentation for monitoring and controlling project risks, scope and requirements on assigned IT projects 

• Coordinate and facilitate prioritization and execution of individual and team activities from start to finish on assigned projects 

• Actively engage in all areas of system support and upgrades 

• Facilitate testing, including unit, integrated and user acceptance 

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Associate’s Degree in Information Systems or related field, Bachelor’s Degree preferred 

• Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel and Outlook 

• Ability to effectively manage stakeholder expectations 

• Ability to collect, evaluate and analyze data to develop alternative recommendations 

• Ability to organize data into logical format for presentation in reports, documents and other written materials 

• Ability to conduct fact finding research to work independently while planning, organizing and coordinating work assignments 

• Ability to interpret and communicate business and technical information effectively to project team stakeholders in order to facilitate a productive team environment 

• Strong, demonstrated project management skills including requirements management, project scheduling and monitoring 

• Possess a strong attention to detail with effective oral and written communications ability 

• Ability to work independently and prioritize to achieve objectives 

• Being technically creative with the ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks 

M-F, 8:00am – 5:00pm
