Alexander has a MS in Mathematical Statistics from UC Berkeley and a BS in Engineering Physics from Lund University. He has been a Visiting Scholar in the IEOR department since October 2016. Alexander is collaborating with professor Ikhlaq Sidhu to develop new teaching models for data science applications at UC Berkeley. He is a co-developer and co-instructor of the IEOR 135 / 290 class Applied Data Science with Venture Applications (first taugt in the spring of 2017). He is also part of the SCET's Blockchain lab initiative.
Since 2016 Alexander has been the lead data scientist of the global research project the Berkeley Innovation Index -- a project utilizing data analytics to aid in behavioral assessment for individuals and organizations to be effective and innovative.
