The Supply Planner is responsible for the supply planning, inventory planning, and management of finished goods for a specific group of products. This position coordinates with other Supply Planners, Demand Planners, site Materials Management, and other groups to develop Production Plans, Inventory strategies and tactics, and metrics to manage the finished goods supply chain. 

  • Perform data collection and compilation to generate rolling 12-month or longer Production Plans for the assigned product lines and supply sites
  • Controls, plans, directs and manages the supply chain to ensure customer demand fulfillment is balanced with service, delivery, and stock performance
  • Optimizes the overall cost of ownership of materials and services at each link of the supply chain
  • Documents entire supply planning process and follows the standardized procedures
  • Provides KPI reporting on supply, inventory, and supply chain costs that include customer service, plan attainment, inventory, and new product introductions
  • Provides support to the supply planning processes used in other sites and Divisions
  • Identifies and loads planning parameters and data into Oracle to facilitate requirements generation and reporting
  • Provides data and participates in the Sales & Operations Planning process and the Supply Review meetings
  • Assists with development of requirements, test scripts, and implementation of upgrades to Oracle and with any new supply planning software and process improvements
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • College Degree in related field – advanced degree a plus
  • APICS certification a plus – CPIM Preferred
  • 0 – 5 years supply planning or supply chain experience
  • Prefer experience with ERP systems and planning software – Oracle a plus
  • Strong communication skills – experience dealing with international sites a plus
  • Sound leadership qualities and demonstrated good judgment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient to advanced Microsoft Excel skills; Microsoft Access skills a plus
