Technology & Cybersecurity Summer Internship

 

Location: Hybrid – Auburn Hills, MI & Virtual/ Remote                                                                                 

Anticipated Start Date: Summer 2022                                          

 

The Technology Intern will work on active projects directly impacting and influencing project outcomes, while identifying and recommending enhancements to existing processes/procedures. After successful completion of the Technology & Cybersecurity Summer Internship program, interns will have the foundation necessary to be successful in Comerica’s Technology & Engineering Collective (TEC) Rotational Program (eligible upon graduation) as well as entry level positions within Technology and Cybersecurity. Departments include, but are not limited to:

·      Chief Technology Office

·      Cybersecurity

·      Business Channels

·      Digital CIO

·      Technology Operations

·      Tech Shared Services

Position Responsibilities

Comerica’s Technology & Cybersecurity Summer Internship program is a 12-week, full-time internship opportunity, designed for college students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Technology or related field. Responsibilities include:

·   Applying foundational Technology skills

·   Participating in project/operational activities

·   Identifying, evaluating and determine risk

·   Identifying and recommending enhancements to existing processes/procedures

·   Participating in greater enterprise internship program events

This internship is scheduled for the summer only.

Successful incumbents possess foundational technical skills, are open and excited to learn new technologies, strong work ethic and attention to detail, ability to work well in teams, technical aptitude, strong written and verbal communication skills, process management skills and the ability to prioritize.

Minimum Qualifications

·      Active college student in good academic standing and designated as a freshman through senior status at an accredited university

·      Working toward a degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, I/O Engineering, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering, Telecommunications or Information Management

·      This position is not eligible for sponsorship. Must have indefinite work authorization

Preferred Qualifications

3.0 (GPA) overall grade point average or higher
