This role is known for supporting the organizations long-range and strategic planning process, business development and strategy execution and serving as an analytical resource to the Strategy Organization’s key initiatives.

 

Long Range and Strategic Planning

 

· Support long-range and strategic planning process

· Align long-term corporate strategy with business unit strategy

· Translate long-term priorities into near-term initiatives

· Support development of core car rental growth and improvement strategy

· Support development of business model innovation strategy

· Drive implementation of capability development and strategy effectiveness tracking

· Provide research and impact analysis on important strategic topics and disruptive trends

 

Problem Solving & Analytics

 

· Strong problem-solving skills

· Ability to gather facts, conduct analysis and translate insights

· Strong knowledge of strategic and financial analysis techniques

· Analytical and quantitative skills – proficient with spreadsheets

· Be comfortable with imperfect or ambiguous information

 

Communication

 

· Ability to communicate the company’s strategy and key plans so that all employees, partners, and stakeholders understand how the company-wide initiatives, and priorities align to individual activities and objectives

· Demonstrate value and foster strategic dialogue within the team and with key stakeholders

· Build inclusive and collaborative processes and relationships with all senior leaders

Value-based approach

· Meet consistent, value-based metrics and targets, with alignment across the organization

· Incorporate shareholder returns into planning

· Drive accountability to structural improvement of business, beyond annual budget

Essential Requirements

· Minimum 3 years’ experience

· Bachelor’s Degree Required

· Ability to work as part of a team and align across organization

· Ability to build credibility and trust

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Strong system thinker

· Proven analytical and quantitative skills

· Proficient with spreadsheets and other quantitative modelling tools

· Confidence and knowledge of industry practices
