Under the direct supervision of the Staff Service Manager I, the Staff Services Analyst (Unit FFI Hiring and RRP Coordinator) is responsible for the maintenance and reconciliation of seasonal Firefighter I positions within the San Diego Unit. Performs as management’s analyst on a variety of issues, as necessary. The incumbent may utilize a variety of source materials and be familiar with personnel related laws, rules, regulations, and bargaining unit contract in the area of personnel transactions and hiring processes; consults with Regional administrative staff, Headquarters Classifications and Pay and Labor Relations program staff, and various control agencies including State Personnel Board, Department of Personnel Administration and County of San Diego administrative partners, as necessary.
