Works as part of the Agency Geospatial Services Branch in the Geographic Information Systems Division. Responsible for a variety of duties providing spatial information and services to county staff and residents. Fulfills requests for GIS special projects including designing maps, developing reports, and creating spatial layers to support maps and reports. This may require implementing solutions of web based map products using ArcGIS Online/ArcGIS Enterprise or other web GIS software. Performs basic spatial analysis and works with higher level GIS Analysts on projects to develop and implement GIS solutions for agencies within the county. Assists other GIS teams in testing and evaluating software applications. Provides GIS technical support and training to county staff, and responds to public inquiries regarding GIS products and services. Provides support to the county Emergency Operations Center in times of activation. Maintains the inventory of GIS consumables and supports additional office functions and operations as required.
