As a Data Engineer at Apisero, you will have the opportunity to build and deploy the Snowflake Data Cloud Platform for several high-profile clients. You will work closely with our global development teams to support customers along their digital transformation journey through supporting data pipelines across various Snowflake workloads.

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Design and develop Data platforms and pipelines including Data warehouse modeling and architecture
  • Automate manual processes around data movement, support data transformation, data structures and metadata
  • Perform Data Analysis, Data Profiling and Data Integrity checks using SQL and other tools
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of database systems internals including relational database design and distributed databases/MPP architectures
  • Lead strategic data architecture & database design discussions with customers
  • Drive and oversee workload analysis, performance benchmarking and troubleshooting efforts with customers in their environments
  • Clearly communicate deep technical topics to customers
  • Influence the engineering team roadmap towards building a product that is scalable, easy to use and build on, and addresses customer needs
  • Conduct POC’s with customers in competitive situations
  • Leverage good coding/scripting skills to automate tasks and improve workload analysis mechanisms
  • Provide UAT support, triage, troubleshooting, and explanations
  • Manage code merges and deployments to preprod in support of QA activities

Qualifications:

  • 3-7 years of experience in a Data Engineer role, internship, or co-op
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related area
  • Advanced SQL coding, tuning, and query optimization
  • Experience troubleshooting applications and system performance and complex, production software issues
  • Experience working with ETL tools and ETL development
  • Experience working with one or more major Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Demonstrated growth profile within an organization
