Role : SharePoint and Power BI Developer

Location : 100 % Remote

Description:

We’re looking for a Power BI developer who will use equal parts skill and vision to build an experience that delivers functionality and efficiency. We need a self-starter who is on top of emerging trends and be able to identify and develop meaningful visualizations. Understanding Power BI is important, but we also need you to have strong SQL knowledge and no fear of rolling up your sleeves to write some complex queries. This is an opportunity to solve problems at the Department of Veterans Affairs by collaborating to build Power BI dashboards with user-centric design. Your team will ensure accessibility for all users by developing a front-end that functions across browsers, platforms, and devices while meeting accessibility and security requirements. Join us as we build systems to change the Department of Veterans Affairs for the better.

Must Have:

  • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Power BI, data visualization, data analytics, or dashboarding
  • Experience in a software developer or data science role with database components, e.g., SQL Server
  • Knowledge of SharePoint Online development
  • Ability to interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports, visualizations, and dashboards, including trend identification and analysis
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

Required Education Level: Bachelors
