Principal Responsibilities

·       Build out infrastructure used to streamline the ingestion of data from a variety of sources

·        Design and maintain automated processes with intricate dependencies

Preferred Technical Skills

·        Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics or related STEM field

·        Master’s degree in Computer Science/related STEM field or PhD in Physics, Engineering (namely, Aeronautics, Mathematics, and Computer Science Engineers), Applied Mathematics, Statistics or related STEM field

·        Advanced computer science skills

·        Strong programming skills in Python

·        Advanced knowledge of SQL

·        Experience with shell scripts in a Linux environment

·        Excellent communication, analytical and quantitative skills

Preferred Experience

·        5+ years working on the buy or sell side preparing financial data for research

·        Strong communication skills and attention to detail

·        Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to acquire new skill sets

Highly Valued Relevant Experience:

·        Experience working with corporate actions data and equity reference data

·        Practice designing processes that automate the ingestion and standardization of data from various raw formats

·        Experience with C++
