Position Summary: As the Sales operations manager, you are responsible for identifying target pool dealers to recruit as users for the program and move them through the funnel from awareness to onboarding. In this effort you will partner with the broader Pentair Pool sales team to identify potential targets, use data-informed approaches to target key dealer segments, leverage the service organization to ensure a positive user experience for new dealers, and collaborate with the commercial team to scale and expand dealer engagement.

You will:

  • Develop and implement a successful sales strategy to align customer engagement and recruitment objectives
  • Engage with prospective pool dealer to increase program awareness and build a robust pipeline of program participants
  • Advance the dealer pipeline and meet active program participant milestones by recruiting pool dealers onto the platform
  • Establish professional relationships with members of Pentair Pool Equipment sales team and collaborate to identify and engage prospective pool dealer platform participants
  • Attend tradeshows, dealer training programs and other events to engage pool dealers directly
  • Communicate the value proposition of the program to dealers effectively and address pool dealer’s questions about the program
  • Collaborate with the Dealer Success team to onboard new pool dealer program participants and ensure delivery of a positive user experience
  • Scale dealer engagement and recruitment programs and create action plans to enter new markets as business expands geographic footprint over time
  • Support regular reporting on pool dealer engagement, pipeline status, active dealer counts, dealer retention and other KPIs
  • Leverage related commercial functions to create an effective go-to-market presence

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in sales or business
  • At least 5 years of inside or field sales experience
  • 2-3 years of pool industry experience preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of executing against sales targets
  • Knowledge and proficient experience with Microsoft Office Systems, including Excel, Word and Power Point.
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) programs preferred
  • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with customers
