PSEG is seeking a Revenue Control intern for summer2021. The Revenue Control team is responsible for maintaining and applying the PSEG Standards and Business Controls, accurate and timely reporting of Company electric & gas revenue statistics for month-end financial close, and management of the Customer Bill Print Process. As an Intern for the PSE&G Revenue Control & SOX department, you will be working with a team of analysts who support the Revenue Cycle process. Intern will support the following projects / business functions: · Ensure that controls are documented, communicated and operated in compliance with all Sarbanes-Oxley regulatory requirements· Gather and analyze data extractions for month-end close, an upcoming rate case filing, and other ad hoc data requests which support the business· Support Spanish Invoice Project & AMI Project with Information Technology Department Required Education/Skills: The successful candidate (s) must be actively pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Managemnet, Econ, or similar related major from an accredited institution with an anticipated graduation date between December 2021 and May 2023. Candidates must have completed sophomore level course work for consideration. Candidates must have excellent oral and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail. Candidates need to be able to meet deadlines, juggle competing priorities, operate independently while knowing when to ask for help or guidance, and view all work from a customer’s perspective. Being technically savvy is an advantage. Strong communication skills are critical, particularly written communication, and candidates with direct customer service experience are desired. Candidates should have proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Preferred Skills: 3.0 GPA;. SAP, UI/UX, or Database Design All PSEG internship roles are paid at an hourly rate, however there are no benefits associated with these positions. Candidates are expected to work 40 hours per week over the summer period for the full 10-12 week period. We are targeting: Currently enrolled students, staying in the NJ/NY/PA metro area for the duration of the internship and able to commute to the assigned work location. Housing, transportation, immigration Support will not be provided in association with these positions.
