Fujitsu Laboratories of America (FLA) has a research internship opening for a graduate-level student. The research will mainly involve large-scale optimization problems, specifically on solving Vehicle Routing Problems with constraints on special-purpose hardware.

FLA is the U.S. R&D arm of Fujitsu, the global information and communications technologies leader headquartered in Japan. FLA is based in Sunnyvale, CA, USA.

A qualified candidate would possess, Research-level experience in at least one of the following: Integer and Linear Programming; Combinatorial Algorithm design; Linear Algebra, familiarity with different methods of solving large-scale VRP problems, and strong programming skills

Students in M.S. and Ph.D. programs with relevant coursework or research experience are invited to apply, and we are open to advanced undergraduates who can demonstrate relevant experience.
