Position Summary

We are currently seeking an Analyst to join our team in San Francisco. The position will have a leading role in preparing property-level analysis for acquisition and development opportunities and on-going asset management analysis for existing investments. The individual will be part of an open, collaborative, and flexible workplace, supporting and working directly with the acquisitions, development, asset management, and accounting teams in all aspects of real estate investing. This is a position at a growing firm that can offer the right candidate a rewarding future in commercial real estate. The role’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

·        Underwriting potential deal acquisitions, including Excel and ARGUS modeling

·        Preparing detailed financial analysis, including IRR/NPV cash flow models and sensitivities

·        Gathering market data and assisting in due diligence of acquisition targets

·        Preparing offering memorandums for equity and debt

·        Interacting with lenders and investors in the process of procuring debt and equity

·   Coordinating and communicating with third party service providers that include brokers, attorneys, architects, contractors, consultants, etc…

·        Supporting execution and closing of investments and loans

·        Evaluating investment performance on existing assets

·        Assisting in asset management, annual budgeting, and investor reporting

·        Preparing additional analyses for business plan execution and disposition strategies

 

Qualifications

·        BA/BS required, with a preferred focus in business, finance, computer science, economics, or related field with a record of high academic achievement (strong GPA)

·        0-3 years of financial analysis experience

·        Knowledge of financial modeling (ideally both in Excel and ARGUS), including cash flow models, sensitivity tables and other financial analysis required to evaluate real estate opportunities

·        Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information

·        Advanced computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams)

·        Exceptional detail and organization skills

·        General interest in real estate and the built environment

·        Basic understanding of real estate terminology

·        Well-developed verbal and written communication and presentation skills

·        Team player with the ability to work independently and in an entrepreneurial environment

·        Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize and manage workload

·        Willingness to take on new challenges, responsibilities and assignments

·        Enthusiastic, proactive, and mature
