Summary

Aristocrat, a recognized leader in the gaming entertainment industry, seeks an accomplished Quality Project Analyst to become an integral part of Enterprise Quality / Operational Excellence organization. As a Quality Project Analyst, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into functional requirements which will be used within our Quality / Operational Excellence frameworks and projects. Additionally, you will be working directly with the business to develop use cases and functional specifications documentation.

What You’ll Do

  • Mastery of translating high-level business requirements into functional specifications
  • Managing change to functional and technical specifications, including approval and acceptance
  • Continue Improvement experience to improve current processes to drive value across the enterprise
  • Support Enterprise Quality team by managing project tracking tools, scheduling meetings, and coordinating events
  • Writing user stories based on business requirements for use in Process Improvement initiatives
  • Working with internal customers and stakeholders to understand and define business requirements
  • Project management duties, including scheduling, confirming attendees, organizing, creating agenda items, documenting decisions, next steps and outstanding agenda items for requirements gathering interviews and workshops
  • Conducting formal and ad-hoc requirements interviews
  • Determining additional appropriate audience for requirements including subject matter experts as and if needed
  • Support our Culture of Quality and Continuous Improvement efforts across all of Aristocrat
  • Manages, and appropriately escalates risks, issues, and changes tied to department initiatives
  • Communicate departmental performance through monitoring metrics, performance evaluation, and reports

What We’re Looking For

  • Business, Financial, Marketing, Engineering or Business Information Systems degree or relevant work experience plus 2 years of previous business analyst, project support, or application testing experience
  • Or 5+ years or previous experience and training as business analyst, project support, project management, application integration or application testing experience
  • Demonstrated effective analytical skills
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills are a must
  • Experience soliciting, gathering, and analyzing user input and requirements
  • Comfortable engaging the technical subject matter experts as needed and documenting detailed technical information
  • Excellent time management
  • Experience driving ambiguous information to quantifiable request (who, when, why, what)
  • Experience authoring requirements, grooming user stories for agile development, and creating related documentation
  • Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, business process owners, technical project managers and technical teams to execute business analysis tasks
  • Proficient in MS Office, Excel, Visio or Adobe for document creation or other related tools
  • Experience using a team-based project solution such as Jira, Confluence, Basecamp, MS Project, SharePoint or other technology
  • Business Analyst experience such as data collection, requirements documentation and executive presentation
  • Prior experience working directly or under the supervision of a project manager, with the business stakeholders to develop use cases and functional specifications documents
