This position will support projects being carried out in the Green Building Tax Incentives Department. Specifically, the main goal of the Project Assistant is to work with Energy Consultants and other Green Building Project Assistants to ensure projects are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
Job Responsibilities
- Support engineers in organizing, reviewing, & processing large quantities of data in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment
- Work with engineers and other project assistants to meet project deadlines
- Review construction documents
- Interface with specialized software and databases
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma; some college experience a plus
- Strong Microsoft Office skills; Excel proficient
- Well organized
- Detail oriented
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects based on deadlines
- Creative problem solver
- Strong Communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with energy simulation modeling software – i.e. Ekotrope, EnergyGauge, EneryPro, eQuest, REM/Rate, or Trace 700
- Experience with markup/illustration software – i.e. Adobe Illustrator, Bluebeam, Planswift
- Experience with construction documents
- Ability to work overtime, if necessary
