Faurecia North America is looking for a Trainee who will commit to long term growth and development with Faurecia. The Rotational Development Program focuses on four functions : Operations Management, Quality, Program Management and Production, Control and Logistics (PC&L). The program’s content is built off of the academic knowledge received by the Trainee while completing their Bachelor’s degree as well as the individual needs, capabilities and objectives of the Trainee. The program is a three year program consisting of three 12-month rotations that could be cross-divisional and in various locations throughout the United States and abroad. Upon completion of the program, the Trainee will take on a demanding and challenging supervisory role in their core field.

- Obtain a full-time offer of employment at the completion of the program based on your performance
The main objectives of the four rotations for the Program Management Trainee are defined below.
Rotation I – Operations
Purpose of this rotation: Learn production & the Faurecia Excellence System
- Learn the operation (technologies, products, etc.) from the production floor
- Rotation will include 3 weeks on production line supporting different shifts and different lines
- Minimum of 4 months operating in role of Production Supervisor
- Attend Faurecia Excellence School Training
Rotation II – Concept Engineering / Sales
Purpose of this rotation: Learn Engineering Process and Customer Expectations in Quotation
- Participate in Quoting of programs
- Develop Bills of Materials (BOM)
- Develop Tooling/Capex lists
- Work with Engineering Change Coordinators to under costs associated with changes to original BOM
Rotation III – Launch Program Management
Purpose of this rotation: Learn Customer and Plant expectation during launch
- Track and execute on-time passing of PSNext milestones
- Work directly with customer
- Launch Program Timeline
- Track Tooling Status
- Deliver on time Customer PPAP
ROTATION IV – Serial Life Program Management
Purpose: Learn measures taken for Cost Save initiatives
- Manage customer changes
- Participate in customer VAVE activities
- Quote and capitalize enhanced profitability on customer changes
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business with concentration in Finance/Mechanical Engineering or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with concentration in Finance
- Practical work experience through internships throughout academic career
- Strong interest in automotive industry
- Commitment to completing a 3 year program
- Bi-lingual preferred
- Interest in an international assignment
