Postdoctoral Research Associate Support
McIntire School of Commerce is committed to providing PRAs with support for research, teaching, and professional development. Each PRA will be matched with a faculty mentor who will work directly with the PRA. Faculty mentors will also assist PRAs in making connections with others in the UVA community to facilitate community engagement and additional research collaborations.
PRAs funded under this program will be appointed for one year with an expectation of renewal for two years, contingent upon a successful annual review. In addition to salary and benefits, the program will provide a research fund allocation for each PRA.
Applicants must have a terminal (PhD) degree before starting the research associate role. The School specifically seeks applicants with a relevant scholarly or creative focus in race, diversity, equity and/or inclusion with applications in a business context. Areas of research may span one or more business disciplines but should focus on questions related to race, justice, equity, society, social psychology, or similar topics in commerce and/or organizations.
