This position will contribute to statistical research design and conducting research to inform the design and use of personal protective equipment.
- The incumbent will be expected to have experience with experimental design, design of experiments, analysis of large datasets, and use of statistical analysis software.
- The incumbent will be expected to provide technical support to others in determining limitations in study design, sample selection, data collection, analysis, and other features.
- The incumbent will be expected to work directly with researchers to develop data collection plans, data analysis methods, conduct statistical analyses, interpret findings, and prepare technical reports.
Eligibility Requirements:
•Enrolled graduate or undergraduate students
•Recent graduates (within the last 5 years)
•University faculty
•U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or foreign nationals (including J-1s, F1s, EADs).
Compensation:
Monthly stipend levels are determined by the latest conferred degree within 5 years.
A.Less than a four year degree = equivalent to GS-5 step 1
B.Four year degree = equivalent to GS-7 step 1
C.Master’s degree = equivalent to GS-9 step 1
D.MD/PhD/equivalent = equivalent to GS-11 step 1
E.MD/PhD equivalent with at least two years of related post graduate work will have a stipend equivalent to GS-12 step 1. Additional steps at this degree level may be added for related post graduate work experience up to a maximum of the equivalent of GS-12 step 4
