The Market Analyst sits within the NA Supply and Optimization team reporting to the Director of Business Development and Planning. This role will provide analysis of daily and monthly fuel pricing and market dynamics. Activities include analyzing price relationships, volatility, EIA and other public information sets, and internal data to identify trends that impact Circle K’s NA fuel business. Role will work with multiple groups within NA Global Fuels to identify data and reporting that drive additional insights for the NA Supply and Optimization team. This is an excellent development opportunity to take on larger commercial roles within the NA Supply organization

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

The position includes, but is not limited to, the following essential job duties, responsibilities, and requirements:

• Develop and produce daily/weekly market reporting for the Supply and Optimization team
• Provide insights regarding specific analysis requests to all levels of the organization
• Review market trends and understand impact on Circle K business
• Evaluate rack vs index pricing structures, product relationships, and geographical differences in pricing dynamics
• Provide ad-hoc analysis as needed to support supply initiatives   

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field. Other combinations of job related experience and education that meet the requirements may be substituted
• 3+ years of petroleum supply and marketing experience, including knowledge of price indexes
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience with MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word preferred.
