KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:The Manager will be responsible for:Execution of company and industry research as well as delivering insights on new trends and developments shaping the future of global commercial real estate industryRun financial/statistical models and data analysis as well as visualization of:Internal data, e.g. Finance, Research, Data from Lines of Business/Segments (e.g. Transactions, Valuations, Property Management, Outsourcing and Real Estate Investments)External data, e.g. Industry reports and data, Wall St. models/data and data from other industries/companiesAlternative data, e.g. geolocation data, consumer spending/payments data as well as data sourced from expert networks as part of specific projectsUse Business Analytics tools to extract, combine, clean and analyze data from multiple data sources (internal and external) and enable the Group to understand and communicate unique trends, patterns as well as insights from that dataWork closely with the Group’s leadership team as well as stakeholders in other Segments/Lines of Business and Corporate Functions like Finance, Research, Corporate Development/M&A and Corporate StrategyPrepare presentations that deliver key insights and explain the process/approach/model to get to those insights in easy-to-understand languageParticipate in time-bound sprint projects that help the Company frame the right questions on a variety of subjects (e.g. Core Operations, Technology Innovation, M&A, ESG, Business Reorganization etc.), study those questions backed by data and mental models, drive consensus, and arrive at a particularly impactful point-of-viewHelp the Group create and maintain effective internal and external partnershipsOther responsibilities may be assigned as necessary within a lean group setting to continuously outperform and exceed expectations WHAT MAKES THIS OPPORTUNITY GREAT:Opportunity to work closely with our company’s C-Suite Executive Team as well as Senior Leadership Opportunity to partner with the Group’s senior members (with a combined 35+ years of industry experience) on projects and initiatives that will have a direct impact on the company’s operations and its futureUnique culture that values diverse backgrounds and perspectives while emphasizing teamwork and a strong sense of ownershipQUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Economics, Business, Data Science and/or Business Analytics from a top tier educational institution. MBA/Master’s Degree/Certificate in relevant fields will be preferredVery strong academic track record: GPA 3.7+ / SAT 1500+/ GMAT 730+/academic scholarships1-3+ years of relevant professional experience. Prior experience or internships in Investment Banking, Private Equity or Hedge Funds will be preferredFamiliarity with Business Analytics tools will be preferred:Data programming: Advanced Excel/VBA, SQL, R, Python, AlteryxData visualization: Tableau, Power BI and other dashboarding applicationsMapping: ESRI and other productsFluency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and WordExceptional written and verbal communication skillsThe ideal candidate will be a self-starter and an insatiable learner.
