The City of Tacoma’s Finance Department, Procurement and Payables Division is seeking a highly motivated person as Management Analyst II, to provide vital support to the team. The successful candidate demonstrates high levels of customer service and technical expertise; works collaboratively with the City’s external suppliers, staff organization wide and Procurement and Payables teammates.
The Management Analyst II coordinates supplier catalogs in the City’s purchasing system (SAP Ariba), works closely with the City’s’ Procurement (Credit) Card Program Manager and other software programs such as Tableau, Ariba and SAP. SAP Ariba is a digital e-commerce platform that streamlines and facilitates supplier management, procurement, contracting and payables.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS (TRAINING AND EDUCATION):
Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree or equivalent preferred. Three to four years of experience researching and analyzing policies, laws, rules, or regulations; data management and reporting, and/or business process analyses is also preferred.
A valid WA state Driver’s License with maintenance thereafter, or proof of equivalent mobility.
