What you will learn and contribute to
Organizations collect massive amounts of data — far more than humans can handle. In fact, we know that 90% of data available is unstructured and continues to grow at a rate of at least 60% every year. As a result, much of this information remains unexplored or underutilized.
Nokia Bell Labs is passionate about helping people and organizations to make the best use of their information. At Nokia Bell Labs we are working on new technologies that enable the extraction of information and knowledge from disparate data sources. We do this by using best-in-class machine learning and natural language processing algorithms and methods and make these work at scale in a practical setting for Nokia customers and Nokia business groups.
As part of our team, you will investigate and implement new techniques for knowledge extraction from unstructured data. The project will focus on applying the latest approaches to knowledge extraction from unstructured data, such as documents, text, images, and video. In the project, you will investigate and apply algorithms such as deep neural networks in the shape of natural language processing transformers, knowledge model building techniques like graph embeddings, automatic topic modeling, unsupervised clustering methods, and hybrid neural-symbolic learning methods.
