Internship Job Description

Job Title: Investment Banking Summer Analyst, Healthcare (Summer 2023)

Reports to: Global Co-Head of Investment Banking

Department: Investment Banking

SVB Securities LLC, formerly known as SVB Leerink, offers a ten-week Summer Analyst program to accomplished students in their penultimate year of undergraduate studies. This is an opportunity to be part of an experienced world-class investment bank focused on innovative companies in the Healthcare sector, where we continue to expand our Investment Banking efforts. The program provides the opportunity to assist in the day-to-day responsibilities of full-time banking professionals.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare client presentations and other transaction related materials

• Prepare valuation analyses of clients and targets

• Review business plans, conduct research and analyze financial statements

• Support live deals and major transactions

• Generate and maintain financial models and analysis’

• Perform due diligence investigations

• Interact with internal banking team

Experience and Qualifications Required:

• Exemplary undergraduate academic record on track to complete a Finance/Accounting undergraduate degree, preferably with a Life Sciences concentration, in May 2024

• Strong analytical skills, including knowledge of financial accounting

• Outstanding written and oral communication skills
