The ALDI District Manager Internship
Locations: Multiple locations
Our ten-week paid internship is a snapshot of the District Manager position. It will provide you insight into our company culture, and show the commitment and hard work it takes to succeed as a District Manager at ALDI.
Requirements
From Day 1, you’ll be immersed in the inner workings of a successful and dynamic workplace, plus you will earn a $1,000 weekly salary. You’ll be given real responsibility, real assignments and a real chance to show what you’re capable of. If you’re in an undergraduate or graduate program and have a G.P.A. of 3.0 and above, our District Manager Internship program is a great way to begin your career journey at ALDI.
Here is how the 10-week program works:
Weeks 1-2:
The first two weeks are spent training with a District Manager, giving you real insight into their day-to-day responsibilities. You won’t sit on the sidelines, though. From day 1 you’ll be assisting the District Manager within their district.
Weeks 3-5:
For three weeks you’ll work with the Store Manager and master every aspect of how the store runs, from running the register to merchandising the entire store.
Weeks 6-7:
You’ll train with a second District Manager and gain exposure to areas such as staffing, supervision of policies and employee development. Every District Manager has their own way of getting things done, and so will you.
Weeks 8-9:
At this point, you will begin to combine all of your training into a practicable core of knowledge to put into action, even performing some District Manager tasks independently.
Week 10:
The last days of your internship are spent learning corporate strategy directly from the Divisional Directors and Vice Presidents. You will present your completed summer project to them at this time. It’s an excellent way to put your talents front and center.
