This is an entry-level position that provides an excellent opportunity to grow and develop GIS skills under the direction of the GIS Supervisor and/or Lead, while doing meaningful and impactful work. The incumbent will maintain City geographical data assets and implement QA/QC procedures and data sharing workflows and strategies, while applying industry standards and best practices as needed.

Qualifications

An equivalent combination to: 

A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, Geography or related field

OR 

An Associate’s Degree in these fields and two or more years of directly related GIS work experience.

Desired:

• 3+ years of experience building GIS solutions using various ESRI products such as ArcGIS Pro, Desktop, StoryMaps and Enterprise.
• 3+ years of experience managing spatial data in enterprise databases.
• 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining metadata quality and standards.
• GIS Professional (GISP), ESRI Technical Certifications or any other GIS Certification Program.
