As an important part of the product flow at ASUS, the Inbound Logistics Specialist works with logistics colleagues, sales, and broker compliance to gather internal and external data for filing duty drawback of ASUS products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with Sales and Logistics Team to collect internal and external documents
- Analyze results, identifying patterns and trends in data sets
- Collaborate with the IT Department if any work functions could be changed to automation
- File duty drawbacks and work with Broker Trade Service to submit the proper documentation and duty drawback spreadsheet data
- Work with Broker Compliance Team to set up an efficient workflow
- Prepare proper duty drawback documentation for U.S. Customs and Border Protection audits
Required Qualifications:
Years of Education
- BA/BS Degree in Business or related field
Work Experience
- 2+ years of experience with import and export compliance logistics
- Experience working with 3PL companies
Knowledge and Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel including V-Lookup and Pivot Tables
- Possess positive team-work attitude and be open-minded to opportunities to improve
- Be able to work in a rapidly changing, fast-paced and results-oriented corporate environment where a high degree of flexibility is required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Verbal and written communication skills necessary to explain complex and/or confidential information
- Strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in consumer technology products and markets
- Experience in hi-tech companies is a plus
