We are dedicated moving to big data platform for our data provisioning, and we are looking to have someone who is passionate about big data technologies and will help us explore the possibilities and be involved working with different dataset streaming and sharing technical knowledge with other team members.As part of the team, you will:Support all daily production tasks for data provisioning of following datasets (LAAD, PTK, REMIT, etc.)Investigate data processing issues and make recommendations to resolveMonitor/Run ETL jobs and implement changes as need raisesSupport the development and documentation of new and existing processes and policies to support data quality and integrityShare technical knowledge with other team members.Support the Market Access team for databases, subtenant or access requestsThink creatively to generate new solutions and make improvements to current processes that deliver value to our teamRequired Skills:Bachelors Degree in related field (engineering, computer science, data science, etc)Entry Level- no experience required beyond degreeStrong experience with big data technologies and associated tools such as Hadoop, Hive, Impala, etc.Proficient in using Spark/ScalaExposure with data Import/Export using Sqoop or similar toolsExperience using Jenkins or similar other automation toolsFamiliar with data visualization and log tools such as Elasticsearch/Kibana/LogstashExcellent knowledge of relational SQL and NoSQL databasesknowledge using SSIS packages, deploy and schedule jobsExperience working with Jira/Confluence/GitLabExcellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple activities with changing priorities simultaneouslyDetails oriented and strong problem-solving skillsTeam player and able to integrate in an international teamPreferred:Bachelor’s in computer science or engineering or information technologyCoursework or exposure to Big Data Technologies (Hadoop, Spark/Scala, Hive, Impala) and SQL Server
