As The HRIS Analyst:

You effectively implement technology solutions to support all areas of Human Sources, including recruiting, benefits enrollment, and e-filing systems, and ensure the company has appropriate access to human capital information. You lead technical initiatives relating to HR Systems, guiding and promoting best practices. You oversee integrations with internal and external systems and applications and provide technical guidance.

Primary Job Duties

  • Primary responsibilities include system audits, data review, systems support, report writing, auditing benefits, implementations of new systems, and data feed testing and analysis
  • Provide support for the administration of the HR information systems, including HRM, recruiting, and timekeeping systems
  • Work on various HRIS system issues and change requests, as required from internal customers
  • Serve as the application SME (subject matter expert); review reporting options, provide analysis and input in the implementation and upgrade of HR applications and systems
  • Research and resolve to completion HRIS problems, unexpected results, or process flaws and recommend solutions to HR Management for approval
  • Participate individually, and as a team member in evaluating, testing, and implementing HRIS systems, upgrades, patches, and data feeds
  • Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data
  • Serve as a liaison between Human Resources, Payroll, Information Technology, and Consultants
  • Provide support and handle tasks associated with benefits and compensation projects: implementations, audits, annual increase, and open enrollment
  • Write, maintain, and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools (turnover analysis, headcount, compensation reports)
  • Respond to ad hoc requests as needed. Provide data to requesting parties in an organized and efficient format to assist users with analysis and interpretation
  • Analyze and interpret data, identify trends, and produce dashboards and summaries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business Analytics or equivalent combination of education and work
  • Analytical with the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, and with report writing software (such as Business Objects, Crystal)
  •  Strong understanding of HRIS database design, structures, and concepts
  • Demonstrated basic knowledge of SQL
  • Strong working knowledge of HRIS and payroll systems, such as UKG Pro, iCIMS, Kronos
  • Previous experience administering HRMs and/or payroll systems
  • Detail-oriented with solid analytical, research, troubleshooting, organization, and decision-making skills
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple projects and programs
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and. proportions to practical situations
  • Working knowledge of HR Processes and data, including benefits, recruiting, performance, and time and attendance
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to respond to questions from employees throughout the organization
  • Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality

Additional preferred competencies or preferred qualifications, if any:

  • Experience with UKG/UltiPro and/or iCIMS Recruiting systems is highly preferred.
  • Experience with Kronos time management software a plus
