JOB DESCRIPTIONEngage2Health (e2H) group is looking for a Data Validation Specialist to add to its team in Westlake Village, CA. The core focus of this position will be to generate a variety of Heath Analytics reports for client distribution, utilizing both end user and vendor data. This person will work closely with vendor contacts to communicate data requests/needs and ensure that complete and accurate data is received in a timely manner.Key areas of emphasis include:Obtaining raw data provided by the client, eliminating any data not pertinent and assembling in a report format that is familiar to all usersValidating report quality which may include comparing final reports to raw data output obtained by vendors and ensuring that numbers fall within acceptable value rangesEvaluating efficiency of work flow current methods and procedures, identifying trends indicating the need to revise existing methods and procedures The ideal candidate for this position will be focused, dedicated, and organized.So, if you’ve been waiting for an opportunity with a multibillion dollar company that will allow you to fuse insightful thinking with disciplined execution in order to achieve breakthrough performance, then what are you waiting for? Get your application in today and let’s get started on something BIG.Applicants for this job will be expected to meet the following minimum qualifications:Education Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business administration, economics, biology, or mathematics requiredEquivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirementsExperienceMinimum 2 years of experience in data validation or analytics required, preferably in a healthcare industryCompletion of a pre-med program from an accredited college or university may be substituted for work experienceTechnical Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint requiredKnowledge of program languages (e.g., C++ C, C#, Java, SAS, Visual Basic, Perl, Python, SQL, etc.) preferredKnowledge of Databases (MS SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, IBM DB2, IBM Informix, PostgreSQL, etc.) preferredKnowledge of Statistical Software (SAS, SAS Enterprise Miner, SAS Enterprise Guide, SPSS, R, etc.) preferred Other:  Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is required About Engage2Health Engage2Health (e2H) is the analytics and informatics division of Health Advocate, Inc., a subsidiary of West Corporation.
