The Global Digital Analytics Specialist is responsible for supporting end-to-end lead generation strategy through data-driven insights and thoughtful, optimized processes across all digital media channels. This position will meet with key stakeholders to help manage their insight needs, provide innovative ideas and actionable recommendations to Stepan commercial organization. They will also analyze key indicators, trends and benchmarks in digital marketing activities including, but not limited to, content marketing, SEO/SEM, social media, video, native and display advertising, webinars/livestreams. The Global Digital Analytics Specialist will identify innovative ways to present insights using current and new technology or methods and be able to tell a story with data and summarize what is important to stakeholders to achieve our business results/growth targets. In addition, this position will be responsible for staying current digital marketing trends and algorithm development, best practices; and be able to discuss potential impact to Stepan Company. You will have the opportunity for a hybrid work schedule of 3 days remote and 2 days in the office per week. Main Responsibilities Include: Lead Generation and Campaign Analytics (30%) • Develop and track key performance metrics from Stepan’s marketing automation tool, streamline data funnels, optimize processes and provide return on investment (ROI) analysis for all marketing communication activities. • Monitor, analyze and report on marketing campaigns and activities, and identify opportunities for improvement and testing strategies. • Using industry research and in-house analysis tools, advise on best practices for outbound and inbound marketing, lead scoring, lead nurturing and data hygiene. Global Website Support (25%) • Work on day-to-day execution and measurement of predefined SEO strategies, as well as regular website audits. • Provide SEO and website performance analysis and recommendations for improvement. • Work with the Global Content Marketing Specialist to review and refine SEO strategies. Social Media Analytics (25%) • Deliver social media insight and campaign performance reports and industry analyses, along with data-informed, actionable recommendations and suggestions for refining social strategy. • Setup ongoing experimentation and testing to identify top performing elements within social content. • Set goals for the global marketing communications team to increase brand awareness, engagement and conversions. Digital Advertising Performance and Strategy (10%) • Monitor and evaluate search and digital advertising performance and provide recommendations for testing, improving performance and optimizing channel and ad type. • Translate quantitative and qualitative data into recommendations for refining digital advertising campaign strategy. • Create, categorize and refine keyword lists to create a comprehensive SEM campaign that drives qualified visitors to company site. Department Support (10%) • Participate on the Global Marketing Communications Workgroup and prepare an analytics summary. • Provide budget inputs and assist with consolidating Stepan global marketing communication budgets. • Assist in the authoring of leadership presentations or business updates, as requested. • Provide training to the global marcom team and other employees to help accelerate digital marketing acumen at Stepan. Qualifications• A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience with SEO and digital marketing analytics in a large, matrixed organization is required; preferred 3-5 years • Creative and strategic thinker and problem solver • Genuine curiosity for how to optimize processes, improve performance; the internet is changing every day, which means there is always something new to learn. • Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics • Knowledgeable about SEO and conversion rate optimization best practices; familiarity with SEO writing best practices • Experience analyzing performance-based desktop and mobile ad campaigns on a variety of displays and native mediums • Experience with B2B organic and paid digital campaigns • Experience measuring effectiveness of digital strategy and refining strategy to improve results Travel 5% for training / conferences EducationBachelor’s degree in Marketing, with an emphasis in Business or Data Analytics or related.
