The Fixed Income Operations and Systems Associate will monitor the markets and operational risk within the portfolio, as well as take responsibility for improving the trading / settlement operations of the firm. The Associate will assist senior portfolio managers with daily management of the trading books, interfacing with counterparties and senior portfolios managers on margin calls, confirming trade details with counterparties and ensuring trade settlement. Importantly, the Associate will help the firm to make its trading operations and systems more efficient by automating processes and increasing efficiency, economies of scale, security and reliability while minimizing cost. Over time, the Operations and Systems Associate position offers the opportunity to increase responsibility quickly as an early member of a small team in a high growth business.
-Must be graduating senior that can start work full time in summer 2022.

-Must be able to work with sometimes minimal guidance from senior partners (self-starter with commercial mindset that can figure out how to add value).
-Ideal candidate will have experience with a) SQL databases / queries, Python, cloud computing and business process automation and b) exposure to the fixed income markets and Bloomberg. A proven initiative and desire to delve deep into fixed income operations, executing, confirming and settling bond transactions and margin calls and the IT necessary to increase operational efficiency is required.
-Must have strong Excel skills and experience with Visual Basic programming.
