GENERAL DESCRIPTION  The Financial Performance Associate will support the commercial oversight for operating assets in EDPR NA’s fleet. You will plan and track budgets, monitor financial performance of operating assets and O&M activities and support ensuring that the operations strategy and management framework developed by the Asset Management team is implemented consistently across assigned projects.  Main accountabilities: Support initiatives to improve overall performance of the Asset Management group. Provide insight and identify opportunities for increased collaboration and utilization of best practices in Asset ManagementCollaborate with other staff to ensure that proper asset management processes and tasks are in place to improve fleet operational performance and limit risk exposureTrack P&L performance for Operations and Maintenance (O&M) self-perform cost centers, provide insight into deviations and recommendations to addressInterface with internal and external stakeholders as necessary in connection with asset performanceEnsure project Owner and investor interests and concerns are prioritized in decision makingSupport annual OPEX budget and longer-term business plans creation in collaboration with other Asset Operations groups and FinancePerform on-going tracking of profit & loss (P&L) performance drivers for the fleet, budget analyses (such as variance report and reforecast) and report conclusions and insights to managementSupport creation of models for project and turbine O&M and perform ad-hoc analysis to support procurement and development decisionsFacilitate fleet-level Requests for Proposals, Service Agreements and contracts by working with Procurement and Legal, and negotiating with vendors as neededInterface with Operations, Performance Management and service providers on routine operational issues and on initiatives. Support resolution of significant agreement issues that stem from operationParticipate in cross functional teams to resolve material issues affecting operational projects; track execution of solutionsPerform ad-hoc analyses of the historical and forward-looking performance of the asset. Support Performance Management in creation of business cases to managementTrack and manage obligations and activities to ensure commercial obligations are met by tracking key milestones, with focus on self-perform agreements Work with other Asset Management staff and accounting personnel to ensure reporting obligations are met in a timely manner  Meet reporting obligations to financing entities by providing necessary commentary and reports as required under the company’s financing obligations.
