Position Summary: 

Reporting to the DIY Finance Manager, the Financial Analyst will provide financial insights and projections to management and cross-functional teams for use in decision-making and planning. The candidate will prepare accurate weekly and monthly financial reports, assist with month-end close, assist in the preparation of presentations that provide thoughtful analysis and effectively frame decisions that need to be made. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the month end close process through variance analysis and explanation of financial results
  • Prepare financial reporting for internal use by collecting, analyzing, formatting, and presenting information
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and monthly forecasts
  • Perform quantitative analysis of operational and financial data 
  • Review product offerings, promotions, and partnership opportunities 
  • Act as a financial partner for cross-functional groups and facilitate data requests
  • Perform ad hoc analysis


Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field


  • 1+ years of experience in an analytical role required, preferably in a matrixed corporate setting
  • Advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint experience required
  • Has a strong understanding of financial accounting terms and concepts
  • Familiarity with concepts such as NPV, IRR, DCF, etc preferred
  • Knowledge and proficiency with Essbase and Hyperion Enterprise preferred
  • Possesses high energy level, strong work ethic, and a desire to learn
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines
  • Ability to build effective relationships across business functions at all management levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
