Apply to be a Financial Analyst or Associate for the leading municipal advisory firm in California, ranked #1 for each of the past 12 years. The firm has also been annually ranked in the top three firms nationally for more than three decades;

 

The firm focuses on important public sector projects (transportation, water, power, wastewater, governmental facilities, schools, etc.) primarily within the State of California;

 

The analyst or associate will assist senior advisors in funding the infrastructure of state and local governments with the issuance of tax-exempt and taxable bonds, including green bonds;

 

This will include building and maintaining financial models to optimize the funding of capital programs with needs in the hundreds of millions, and frequently billions, of dollars;

 

Structuring and pricing transactions in the capital markets;

 

Conducting market and fixed income research;

 

Responding to Requests for Proposals for existing and prospective issuer clients;

 

Developing and produce high-quality presentations for municipalities and new business opportunities;

Individual will interact directly with public sector decision-makers, investment bankers, commercial bankers, attorneys, trustees, credit rating analysts, and other professionals; and provide support for other aspects of the municipal finance funding process.

 

Qualifications:

 

Bright, motivated, hard-working individual with an interest in financing major public infrastructure projects and a desire to work in an environment with advancement potential based on merit and aptitude;

 

Willing to accept a high degree of responsibility and have the ability to prioritize and multi-task on different projects;

 

Attention to detail and Intellectual curiosity; 

 

Strong quantitative/analytical abilities;

 

Excellent communication and writing skills;

 

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (Windows OS); and

 

Bachelor’s degree with high GPA.
