  • Maintain positive, strong relationships with customers and suppliers (Airline carriers, shipping lines, trucking companies and others involved)
  • Ability to understand client specific operating procedures and successfully execute upon them
  • Understand the department process flow to ensure smooth, accurate and timely freight process flow
  • Meet compliance at all times by following internal and external regulations that are in accordance with government regulations
  • Track and Trace customer shipments as needed
  • Continually look for best practices and ways to improve operational efficiency and productivity
  • Ensure accurate and timely client billing
  • Assist in resolving accounting issues
  • Data entry using Expeditors proprietary programs and systems
  • Create accurate and timely documents for shipping purposes (Import/Export/Customs)
  • Continuous learning and professional development
  • Other departmental duties as needed


  • Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results
  • Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Must Type 45WPM+
  • 10-key by touch a plus
  • Functions efficiently in a high stress environment
  • Genuine curiosity about Logistics and Supply Chain Management
  • Willing to work overtime when needed
  • Willing to learn, grow and prosper in a strong company culture
